The Shorts of Summer
Stopped into the West Village Freemans Sporting Club yesterday, and I learned the following:
1. The reason Freemans is the best place to pick up copies of Cometbus, is because the owner is friends with Aaron Cometbus. I find that very random.
2. F.S.C. will be debuting their new shorts very soon. According to the shopkeeper, they won’t be too short, but also not too long. Apparently they will be seersucker, and “sweet.”
Jason Diamond is a writer and editor who lives in New York City. He's the founder of Vol. 1 Brooklyn, current New York Deputy Editor of Flavorpill, and the former editor of Jewcy.com. His writing has been published by The New York Times, The Paris Review, Vice, NPR.org, the A.V. Club, Tablet, The Rumpus, Thought Catalog, Impose, Miami New Times, Capital New York, and the Chicago Tribune. He’s currently at work on a book.
